UK’s reCUP recyclable paper cup with EarthCoating, has been recognized as fully recyclable by achieving the coveted “Category A Recyclable” certification per The Green Dot (Der Grune Punkt) recycling standards.
Given the almost-nightly media reporting on plastic-pollution levels, sustainability crises and all manner of imminent global environmental horrors, as a starting point, Screentrade asks: “Just how ‘green’ is your cinema operation?”.

“The smart planet technology cups feature coating with calcium carbonate in the formulation, meaning that its quite dense and behaves differently in the pulping process.
“It also uses 40% less plastic than standard plastic-lined cups, reducing plastic content to approximately 3% – so paper mills can use their standard equipment to recycle the cups.”
In 2017, Linstol introduced its customizable Super Cup to the market to reduce the environmental impact of catering resources in aviation. Air Calin and United Airlines are already using the product on board, with Linstol hoping many more will follow.
